The women finished with an overall record of 12-7, and they completed the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) in 4th place. Selected to the All SCAC Conference Team was senior Margaret Tufton and freshman Anna Beth Sanford. Junior Allison Tinney made Honorable Mention.

Margaret Tufton was selected as the recipient of the Atlantic/South ITA/Arthur Ashe Award for Leadership & Sportsmanship. Award winners from the four regions were in contention for the National Award. A four-year member of the Rhodes Tennis Team, Margaret has shown the qualities that won her such honorable recognition both on and off the courts. She has been a mentor to freshmen, has volunteered for various outreach programs in the community, and has demonstrated a “never give up” attitude in her most difficult matches.
